<p>The bike getting this kit is the Black R1 with the Gold accents from the factory. The customer wanted to continue the look with the new wheels and swingarm kit. This kit uses our full billet drive assembly to allow us to run the Performance Machine wheels. A few select pieces have been anodized Gold. The wheels started out with the typical P.M. &#8220;Contrast Cut&#8221; finish. We took it a step further by powder coating the contrasted cuts with Gold powdercoat.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our customer was building a &#8220;vintage/kustom&#8221; style Harley.  The modern <a title="HHI " href="http://hawghalters.com/index.php?_a=viewCat&amp;catId=84" target="_blank">Hawg Halters</a> look was all wrong for the <a title="Kustom Tech" href="http://www.kustomtech.eu/" target="_blank">Kustom Tech </a>style he wanted.  The task was to give the master cylinders a facelift in the spirit of &#8220;Kustom Tek&#8221;.</p>

<p>To get the result we wanted.  The plan was to make new levers and master cylinder covers to match the K.T. look.  The customers bike requires a hydraulic clutch and K.T. does not offer a hydraulic clutch master cylinder.</p>

<p>While the final parts were to be Brass.  I made the initial set from aluminum.  A few redesigns later and the look, feel and operation were all correct.  The finalized programs were used to cut the parts from Brass.  I scuffed the polished HHI master cylinder bodies and polished the Brass parts.</p>

<p>I’ve been working on a new drive assembly for my future swingarm builds. It’s starting to come together and I thought you might like to see some of the freshly machined parts. As you can see the new revision has a much larger diameter spindle and also a larger brake rotor. Although our previous drive quickly became the industry standard in high end single sided swingarm kits, it was deigned back in ’08 and we always like to be moving forward with our products and designs.
